One-sided leg swelling, calf pain, warmth, redness, symptoms after long travel or surgery, pregnancy, cancer, or previous clots should be assessed promptly. Chest pain or shortness of breath needs emergency care first; call 112 in Kuwait.
How the scan works
Compression ultrasound checks whether the deep veins compress normally and whether blood flow is present. It is non-invasive and usually does not require preparation.
