What vascular ultrasound can check
Vascular ultrasound uses sound waves to assess blood flow in arteries and veins. It can help investigate leg swelling, varicose veins, suspected DVT, carotid artery narrowing, peripheral artery disease, diabetic foot circulation, and vascular mapping before procedures.
Why scan selection matters
Different symptoms need different protocols. A DVT scan is not the same as venous reflux mapping, and an arterial Doppler is different from a carotid duplex. Use WhatsApp only to coordinate an exam name, if already known, and a preferred time; wait for a secure channel before sharing clinical details.
Non-invasive Doppler diagnostics
Vascular Lab Clinic focuses on non-invasive vascular ultrasound and Doppler diagnostics. This is different from a cardiac catheterization lab or a vascular surgery department. If treatment, intervention, or surgery is needed, follow the treating clinician's advice. For an emergency, call 112 in Kuwait.
